Our friend @MonaFims has this #MusicMonday’s music recommendations.
I´m starting this week’s #MusicMonday with one of my favorite bands; “Active Child” They are touring in Scandinavia these days and I can’t wait to see them live! Listening to their music is like diving into a pool of beautiful sound and I’m sure you have heard their amazing song “Hanging On” before.
The singer-songwriters favorite for this week: “Radical Face” with “Ghost Towns” from their latest album “The Family Tree: The Roots”. I have had this song on repeat for weeks now. Amazing lyrics and melody. I also added my old favorites “Blind Pilot” and “Richard Walters” with “One Red Thread” and “All at Sea”.
New findings this week: A new musical duo called “Soft Swells” Their music is filled with optimism and I fell in love with their song “Every Little Thing” at first listen. Followed by “Surround” from a band called “Darlingside”. A string-rock quintet from Northampton. They play a nice mix between rock, classical, and folk music. My cup of tea! “Vanaprasta” is an American indie rock quintet from Los Angeles. I really like their song called “Color Of Sin”.
