Spotify in the Palm of your hand

We’re always looking for new ways to make Spotify available to as many music fans as possible, so today we’re really excited to announce that Spotify Mobile is launching on Palm’s smartphones.

If you’re using either a Palm Pre or Pixi phone running webOS then you can download Spotify from the webOS app store now, giving you all the great features you’ve come to expect from our mobile apps.

The full feature set for Spotify on Palm smartphones includes:

  • Search, browse & play millions of tracks
  • Offline playlists – listen to music with no mobile connection
  • Wirelessly sync your local files to your phone
  • View your friends’ top lists and see what playlists they’ve created
  • Send & receive music from friends via the inbox
  • Share music via Facebook, email and messaging
  • Create, sync and edit playlists
  • LastFM scrobbling

As with all of our Spotify Mobile apps a premium subscription is required. So if you’re a Palm user there’s no better time than now to upgrade.

  1. ….and Samsung and Bada….???
Not much Bada-bing yet for Spotify I’m sorry to say. Hopefully you’ll fix this soon so I can enjoy your fantastic program/apps on my Samsung Bada-phone.

  2. Seriously this is beginning to look like you intentionally are trying to make Maemo users mad.
Making a Spotify app for Maemo would bring not only the N900 users, but other phones and tablets as well.

  3. whishing for spotify on my Samsung Wawe with Bada :) don’t think im alone with this whish

  4. Can you guys from spotify PLEASE connect the spotify user “tkmerc” back to the ORIGINAL e-mail it were made with? And now can`t use spotify more than 20 hours a month! And reset the password back to what it was… I don`t know if you guys did this or if someone VERY pro hackers did this… To be honest, I think you guys did it. I would be VERY thanful if you did it for me, i can ofcourse answer some questions about the account if you don`t believe me. And now can`t use spotify more than 20 hours a month! I normally uses 4-5 hours every day! That`s all… -An “angry” spotify user

  5. Blackberry is your advertising partner, when will you release the app????? Don’t understand the strategy…

  6. I just purchased a premium account and would love to see/get an iPad version, else I guess would not make much sense for me. Any updates/ideas if this is even in schedule?

    Please reply. Thank you.

  7. Amazing app. I’m a dutch user with a palm phone. Please don’t forget webOS 2.0 when HP Palm updates the OS!

  8. Please, update the Palm app with webOS 2.0 / Pre 2 support! It’s been out for a month already…

  9. One request is organizing options for the symbian mobile app.
The tracks are in the order I placed them in the playlist and this is a problem since you still can’t arrange them according to artist/song name/album.

    Please take this into concern!

  10. I did not find anything about local restrictions so I opened a Premium account and … nothing! “only available in UK, Spain and France”. Please make it available for other countries, too (I am in Sweden for example). I’m sure it’s great, must be the killer app for my Palm Pre.

  11. Je suis abonné premium depuis un an. j’ai commandé le Palm pré plus sous web Os 2. j’espère que la non compatibilité avec l’application spotify est maintenant réglée, car sinon je serai au regret de devoir résilier mon abonnement spotify.

  12. Why not try and get Spotify on the Xbox 360?, which Spotify already works along side with (in respect to scrobbling music), is on there. I think it would be a good idea to get Spotify on there too, I often use to find new music and then place it in my Spotify playlist. It should be allowed for non-premium members to access this feature, if it were ever to happen.

    Just an idea.
