We are very excited to announce our fourth Spotify Live event that will take place at The Lexington in London on the 14th of December.
Kicking off the gig, Guy Connelly will perform in his guise as Clock Opera, playing his usual dizzying, chopped up mix of samples, beats and wrangled vocals. His influences are eclectic, so we’re expecting a great show!
Following Clock Opera, Maverick Sabre, one of the most distinctive voices in modern R&B, will take to the stage to perform tracks from his EP, Lost Years. This is a great chance to see the 22 year-old perform in an intimate setting before the release of his debut album Lonely Are The Brave.
The gig is totally free! A limited number of tickets given out on first-come first-served basis to those who did not win tickets, and wish to try their luck on the night. The doors open at 7.30pm.
But if you want to secure your place, if you are a Premium subscriber and over 18, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for the chance to get a plus one on the guest list and a complimentary drink on arrival. The competition ends on Monday at 4pm. Also both the Guardian and Rockfeedback will be offering a limited amount of guaranteed tickets. For your chance of winning a couple of them, visit www.guardian.co.uk/music/spotifylive or www.rockfeedback.com.
The videos from the show will be available on the Guardian, Rockfeedback and here on our blog, so come back to check them out after the gig!
