We’re about to change the way you discover music forever. Now on Spotify, you can get closer to the music – and the artists – you love.
Make it better, please
“Dear Spotify, sometimes I don’t know what to listen to.” We know what you mean. Sure, having millions of songs in your pocket has changed the way you listen to music, but can you figure out what to play on a lazy Sunday afternoon?
So we’re thrilled to announce a new and entirely personal way of discovering music on Spotify.
Our latest, greatest upgrade will see a whole host of new discovery features introduced across desktop, mobile and our new web player over the coming weeks.
Put it this way, you’ll never be lost for music again!
The all-new Follow tab
We’re bringing artists and fans closer than ever before.
Now on Spotify, you can follow all the people who turn you on to the music you care about. Find out what friends and artists are listening to in real time, and check out the music that matters to the trendsetters in your life.
Want to hear Obama’s playlist as he prepares for a big speech? Or check out what David Guetta is listening to this week? Now you can.
Build your following
Share your soundtrack with the world, and people will follow you too. Post your playlists on your social networks and be part of the discovery revolution.
The all-new Discover tab
Your hunt for the right music is over! Spotify’s Discover feed continually seeks out personal recommendations for you. Get ready for:
- New single and album releases from the artists you follow.
- All the music and playlists shared by influencers you follow.
- Recommendations based on the music you listen to – including music, reviews and concerts.
Introducing Audio Preview
With our new Audio Preview feature, you can dip into new music without moving away from the song you’re playing. If you like what you hear, you can save it for later or play it right away. The choice is yours.
Oh, and we’ve given our website a bit of a spring clean. You’ve probably noticed!
We’ll be telling you more about our latest features real soon. Until then, our Follow features will roll out as part of a desktop app update in the coming weeks, with a full cross-platform upgrade arriving next year.
