Orbital are setting up a room on Soundrop next Thursday. You will be able to share all the Orbital music you want in the room and vote to create the ultimate Orbital playlist – voted by the fans, for the fans. And that’s not all: the band will be taking questions from all of you!
Get your chance to ask them about their experiences from the last 25 years at the heart of British dance music, their triumphant return to the studio after an 8 year hiatus or anything that a true Orbital fan would like to know about.
The band will be chatting live on Thursday 29th March at 4pm on the official Orbital Soundrop room.
Here you can RSVP to the event on Facebook.

Why not kick off a new week with a dash of dream pop?! First one out this week is Australian “Snakadaktal” with their single “Air”. We continue with an old favorite “Behind the Drapes” with Danish “Mew” and then “Love Inks”, a new favorite trio from Austin, Texas. They have a dreamy indie pop thing going on and I really like their song “Skeleton Key”.
Angus & Julia Stone are an Australian brother-sister duo from Sydney. I remember back in 2008 when I first heard their song “Just A Boy” and “Paper Aeroplane”. I fell in love! You should also check out others like: , “Bella” and “Big Jet Plane” from 2010.
The Shins just came out with a new album; “Port Of Morrow” and their single “Simple Song” is all over the radio as we speak. Also, I’ve added a great song from a previous album: “New Slang” from their second album “Oh, Inverted World” (2001).
Iron & Wine (also known as Sam Beam) is one of my all time favorite singer and songwriter.
He has released two studio albums and several EPs, including one with “Calexico” who is also in this weeks playlist. We finish today’s playlist with Iron & Wine`s “Boy With a Coin”.
If you have song suggestion for next week’s playlist feel free to drop them in my Spotify Inbox.
