Give Spotify Premium a spin for seven days

We’ve always been big believers that if you try Spotify on your mobile phone you’ll fall in love with having millions of tracks at your fingertips everywhere you go, online and offline.

So to give everyone the chance to find out for themselves how great Spotify Premium really is we’ve got a seven-day free trial that you can sign up for.

If you haven’t tried Spotify Premium yet, then the free trial will allow you to listen to Spotify on your mobile phone (iPhone, Android, Symbian, etc) and on supported home stereo devices such as Sonos, Onkyo and Squeezebox. You’ll also get to use our great ‘Offline mode’ feature and boost the sound quality of your listening.

You’ll have to enter a credit card number or Paypal account info to take advantage of the offer but if you’re not totally happy you can cancel at any time and you won’t be charged. If you do decide to continue you’ll automatically become a regular Spotify Premium user after the seven days is over and you’ll be charged on a monthly basis.

So now, there’s no reason not to try Spotify Premium, give it a spin today!

  2. That’s a bummer, I as a paying Premium user can’t give the Premium version a seven day try. Feels as if I’m being punished for paying €4,99 a month.

  3. “Give everyone the chance”, eh?
Everyone except Unlimited users it seems, I guess the upgrade isn’t worth the extra £5 a month but it’d be nice to know…

  4. Any new updates to the windows / mac client, and maybe a plugin factuality in the future?

  5. En mi curro tenemos censurado la web de spotify. y cada vez que hay que actualizar el software (que es muy seguido) es una tortura, ya que hay que traerlo de casa!! he instalarlo.
No podeis dar otras alternativas para descargar la actualizaciones!!!

  6. Just know that the mobile-version doesn’t allow more than 160 kbps quality. 😦

  7. strange that this isn’t available to paying unlimited users. I would have thought spotify would like to tempt us into paying another £5 a month for premium by giving us a weeks free trial too.

  8. I get that you want to make money, that’s fine, even though you charge absurd prices for badly organised and incorrectly listed music. But please stop advertising your own services every fucking two minutes! It’s totally pointless. People that want to pay for your service will do so; the only people you are advertising to are people that aren’t paying. A total waste of time.

  9. I would have liked to have back when i first looked at spotify. See what the mobile app looked like before.

  10. I have been trying for 3 days now to get the 7 day trial and still nothing.
Am I doing something wrong or is the service unvailable?

  11. I am beeing charged for Premium. However suddenly there were some adverticing on my Spotify. And I don’t know how I can reach Spotify on an e-mail. I can’t find any Spotify e-mail.

  12. i click the banner, enter my password then i get to the page where i am asked the password again to confirm. Then i press continue and the page just reloads and nothing happends.

  13. It wont let me get spotify premuim free trial… it just keeps saying i have to pay, and i refuse to unless i try it first. I probably will get premuim after, i just want to see if its any good. BUT I CANT GET IT ¬_¬

  14. It’s awesome of you guys to make people able to try it

BUT where the hell is my iPad app?!

  15. I was an early user of the flakey iPhone app before giving up in disgust.

For my pains and my money I’m now not entitled to try it again to see if it’s usable now without paying unlike new users.

Thanks but no thanks, offer a proper free trial if you want me to pay for premium again.

  16. Can anyone tell me if Spotify Mobile is compatible with the SE C903? Thanks in advance.

  17. I am trying to download spotify open on my new laptop but even though I already have an account, it won’t let me. I can only choose from unlimited, premium or enter a code…. Any suggestions?

  18. @whismith – You can download directly from, no need to make a new account.
