The Soundtrack to May 2011

We hit the ground running with the biggest of mixtape monthlies, The Soundtrack to… May’s edition is a suitably joyous symphony of eclecticism: there’s the devastatingly ace Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair from Arctic Monkeys; the long overdue return of Tom Vek on the infectious A Chore; the only British MC you need in your life, Ghostpoet with Survive It; and the singer-songwriter everyone’s talking about, Ed Sheeran on The A Team. All these and more await you in the best monthly round-up of fresh music you’ll find anywhere on the web.

Including a handful of his own productions, his mixtape also features Metronomy, Panda Bear, The Strokes, James Blake and more.
