Spotify Premium UK – Zero 7 & Kula Shaker pre-releases

Kula Shaker burst onto the British music scene in 1996 with the release of K, one of the fastest selling debut albums ever. Imploding after the follow up, they disappeared for nearly 10 years until a very low key album in 2007 signaled their semi-return. Kula Shaker are back again, this time with their new album, Pilgrims Progress, which draws on folk, 60s r&b & traditional influences as well as their signature psychedelia.

Starting today Spotify Premium listeners in the UK can be the first to hear the album before its June 28th release.

Also available for premium listeners in the UK today is RECORD, a collection of handpicked highlights from Zero 7’s first decade. RECORD features tracks from their Mercury Prize nominated, million selling debut album Simple Things (Destiny, Distractions, In The Waiting Line).

The album, released widely on June 28th, also includes tracks taken from their subsequent albums (When It Falls, The Garden) as well as rare, previously unreleased tracks such as Salt Water Sound.

Grammy nominated and Aria winner, Sia is originally known as the mesmerizing voice behind Zero 7. She returns this summer with a brand new single ‘Clap Your Hands’ which is taken from her fourth album ‘We Are Born’, a total feelgood pop triumph delivered with Sia’s signature flair.

The album is set for wide release in September but in an exclusive to Spotify users can listen to the entire album all summer long before anyone else – for more information about Sia check out www.siamusic.net.

Spotify listeners can be the first to hear exclusive album tracks starting today.

I Am Arrows is the new incarnation of former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows, a skilled multi-instrumentalist who wrote and recorded everything on this new album.
